Seattle
Chris & I went to Seattle for the weekend. We stayed with my cousins Suzanne & Jason & their brood of animals (2 dogs & 2 cats). We hit the outlet malls (Chris is looking over my shoulder and would like me to correct this statement.....apparently I went to the outlets and he was DRAGGED along), went to a really good coffee shop in the International District (Zeitgeist Coffee house for those of you taking notes), walked the waterfront area and up to the market to people watch (there is alot to watch!!!), we walked through Volunteer Park in Capital Hill and went running in Discover Park. We went out for dinner with Suz & Jason on Saturday night and went to see "Hot Fuzz" on Sunday evening (we loved it!)
Here's Jinx, she helped me make the bed....this is just before she attacked the string-like cord of the camera.

Here's Keira, who surprised the heck out of me when she went into the bathroom and turned on the tap ALL BY HERSELF. Apparently, lapping water out of a bowl is not challenging enough! She does this on demand or whenever she is thirsty :-)
These are just a few of the rubber duckies that greeted me in the shower. Chris and I were chatting today and he says "Did you see the Oprah rubber duck?" Um, hmmm I'm not sure if I was still violently laughing when I explained that it was actually James Brown!

Smart dog!!
I sure am laughing at the duck collection - and the Oprah comment about it!!!!!
I'd like to know why they don't make an Oprah rubber duck!
That might be worth collecting!
HA HA HA
Vanessa, you are a great photographer! Love the photos, especially Oprah, I mean James Brown.
